Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic old time example of arsenolite from Austria!!! This specimen is from the ancient slag localities in Rauris and hosts an amazing cluster of arsenolite crytals!!! There are pristine bipyramidal crystals that range in size to 5mm and compound crystals that range in size to nearly 1cm!!! The crystals exhibit fascinating hoppered faces and complex modifications!!! This specimen retains an old Schortmann's label that dates to the 1940's - note that this specimen had a very significant price tag for the time!!! This specimen is simply incredible in person!!!
