Native Arsenic pseudomorph after Native Silver with Proustite & Senarmontite

Schlema, Schlema-Hartenstein District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany

6.06cm x 4.02cm x 3.15cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A rare example of native arsenic after native silver from Germany!!! This unusual old time specien consists of a complex group of dendritic native silver crystals that have been completely replaced by native arsenic!!! There are several small proustite crystals in association tucked amoung the pseudomorphs as well!!! In addition, there is one side of the specimen that hosts some white mineralization - some of this material is quartz, however there are a number of sharp, lustrous senarmontite crystals that range in size to over 1mm as well as somewhat massive senarmontite!!! This specimen is quite impressive in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY OCTOBER 28th!!!
