Apatite with Arsenopyrite Panasqueira Mines, Panasqueira, Covilha, Castelo Branco District, Portugal 4.6cm x 3.94cm x 2.05cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of apatite with arsenopyrite from classic locality!!! This specimen hosts several light blue-green crystals of apatite in combination with showy clusters of complex, iridescent arsenopyrite crystals!!! The largest apatite crystal has a zone of slightly purplish-reddish coloration as well!!! The arsenopyrite crystals have a brassy-golden patina with showy iridescent highlights!!! The arsenopyrite crystals are arranged in slightly divergent, stacked groups of bladed crystals that are quite striking in person!!! A handsome combination from this classic locality!!!
