Apatite

Niaslo, Basha Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan

2.67" x 2.66" x 2.23"

6.79cm x 6.76cm x 5.67cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A magnificent example of apatite from Pakistan!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of large, gemmy, yellow green to bottle green apatite crystals!!! The overall color of the crystals is way better than the pictures show!!! The crystals are very large and surprisingly gemmy for their size!!! This specimen is simply amazing in person!!! This specimen was acquired from the Fred Parker collection and retains his detailed note card (#975) that indicates it was purchased in 1997 at Tucson from which dealer (with old dealer label stapled to card)!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
