Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of apatite from Germany!!! This specimen hosts numerous gemmy purple apatite crystals up to over .8cm aesthetically scattered across the matrix!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Latteux collection!!! Docteur Latteux (b.1830) was an accomplished physician in France, a meteorite collector as well as a mineral collector and served as a correspondent for the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris!!!
