Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of ankerite from Vermont!!! This specimen hosts a group of gemmy ankerite crystals in green chlorite schist and talc!!! The ankerite crystals are gemmy yellow rhombs with highly complex, slightly rounded surfaces!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition and the specimen is quite showy in person!!! A magnificent example of the species indeed!!! This specimen retains several previous labels from well known contemporary New England collectors as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
