Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of anglesite from Broken Hill!!! This specimen hosts a highly complex group of anglesite crystals prominently perched on a stalk of limonitic matrix!!! The anglesite crystals are present as a complex "ball" of intergrown crystals that engulfs the upper portion of the matrix!!! The crystals have glassy luster and marked translucence!!! The pics don't capture the abundance of tiny crystal faces present among the smaller crystals - in person the specimen is quite sparkly and has much greater detail!!! Many of the crystals are doubly terminated and although there are some on the reverse that are incomplete this does not effect the overall presentation at all!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J. Beres!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
