Anglesite with Galena Beaver Co., Utah 8.53cm x 5cm x 4.7cm Ex. George A. Koenig (1844-1913) Collection Ex. A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum #DM-11766

Description/Interesting Notes: A superb, old time example of anglesite from Utah!!! This specimen consists of galena crystal matrix that hosts an impressive showing of sharp, glassy anglesite crystals to well over 1cm!!! The anglesite crystals are very well formed with transparent to translucent clarity!!! The crystals have glassy, razor-sharp faces and many are doubly terminated!!! There are some unidentified reddish brown crystals that appear to possibly be pseudomorphs that form rounded groups on the exterior of some of the galena crystals as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently!!! This specimen is much more impressive than the pictures show!!! This specimen retains a label from the A.E.
