Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely magnificent example of andradite garnet and hedenbergite from Greece!!! This old time beauty consists of a spray of dark green hedenbergite that hosts numerous razor-sharp orange red andradite garnet crystals!!! Crystalline hedenbergite from this locality is uncommon as it is, and this is a terrific specimen of hedenbergite in its own right!!! The andradite crystals range in size up to 1cm and are sharp, complete, and richly colorful!!! The pictures don't come anywhere close to doing this specimen justice!!! It is WAY, WAY better than the pics show!!! Make no mistake, this specimen is a killer!!! STAY TUNED!!!
