Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of anatase on quartz from Switzerland!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, brilliant, gemmy quartz crystal that hosts numerous sharp anatase crystals perched on its surface!!! The quartz crystal has razor-sharp, glassy faces with gemmy clarity!!! The quartz crystal is completly terminated with some highly complex features including Upon close inspection, there are numerous complex features and the crystal appears to exhibit some unusual twinning (Dauphine Law, Brazil Law etc.)!!! The anatase crystals are sharp and brilliant!!! A classic old time Swiss anatase & quartz beauty!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains its original old label (there are also several additional catalogue numbers on the bottom)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
