Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, 19th century example of analcime from the type locality in Italy!!! This specimen hosts a broad face that is richly covered with razor-sharp, glassy, gemmy crystals of analcime!!! The crystals are of fantastic quality and the specimen is quite sparkly and handsome in person!!! There are also a few scattered crystals of minor thomsonite-ca and/or aragonite present as well!!! This is old, 19th century material and retains an old Northwestern University Mineral Collection label and catalogue number as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
