Quartz var. Amethyst

Mun. Las Vigas de Ramirez, Veracruz, Mexico

3.1cm x 2.7cm x 1.8cm

Ex. Tony Nikischer Collection #875

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of amethyst from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic grouping of gemmy, purple amethyst crystals prominently perched on a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals are arranged in a most pleasing fashion, making for a very handsome display indeed!!! The crystals have razor-sharp faces with bright glassy luster and gemmy clarity!!! The crystals are pristine and undamaged all around!!! Very showy in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
