Description/Interesting Notes: An unusual and aesthetic combination of calcite and amethyst from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of highly complex calcite crystals in association with complex clusters of light purple amethyst crystals!!! The calcite crystals consist of highly complex crystals that have brilliant, glassy luster and translucent to gemmy clarity!!! The amethyst crystals consist of unusually stout, equant crystals with a curious matte-luster and marked clarity!!! This combination of unusual features might lead one to at first mistake them for purple fluorite crystals - however they are most certainly amethyst crystals!!! This speciemn is in fantastic condition and is very lively and showy in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen is fluorescent red under SW UV as well!!!
