Description/Interesting Notes: A fabulous collection of rare species from the Amelia Mine (type locality for boleite and cumengeite)!!! This collection consists of approximately 120 boleite crystals ranging from 2.5mm to 1cm in addition to one cumengeite crystal!!! I put together a group of specimens from the lot that show twinned boleite crystals, cubo-octahedral boleite crystals, complex compound boleite crystal groups, cubic boleite crystals with epitaxial pseudoboleite, boleite crystals on anglesite, boleite crystals associated with paratacamite, and one single 3.5mm cumengeite crystal sixling twin!!! There are several anglesite/boleite crystal combos and a few associations with green paratacamite!!! There are a few boleite crystals that show epitaxial pseuodoboleite growths as well!!! While there are a number of partial crystals in the lot, there are obviously a number of fine specimens and it is no doubt a valuable lot indeed!!! The pics hardly do things justice!!! You simply will not find another opportunity like this - these are all old specimens that came out of an old collection!!!
