Quartz var. Agate

Great Notch, Little Falls Township, Passaic Co., New Jersey

6.6cm x 2.84cm x 2.6cm

Ex. Neil A. Wintringham Collection

Description/Interesting Notes:

An absolutely incredible example of agate from New Jersey!!! This specimen consists of a cut and polished agate specimen that hosts a most stunning concentric pattern of reds, pinks, mauves, whites, and so on!!! This specimen is a spectacular agate for any locality, but this is an old time New Jersey agate!!! This is not a slab, the back of the specimen is complete and natural!!! This specimen retains its original Wintringham collection label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!!
