Description/Interesting Notes: A huge, old time example of this Alpine classic from Switzerland!!! This specimen consists of a large and showy adularia crystal in association with quartz and chlorite!!! The adularia crystals are razor-sharp, glassy, and have translucent to near gemmy clarity in some areas!!! The quartz crystals are actually not damaged, but rather just etched or healed!!! There is a slight dusting of green chlorite on one edge that provides an aesethetic accent!!! This specimen is simply stunning in person - it was so large that I had trouble capturing its dramatic and showy nature in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen is from the Albert Peppis Collection and retains his original label!!!
