Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of acanthite from Germany!!! This specimen consists of handsome cluster of octahedral acanthite crystals in association with a small amount of matrix!!! This is a fantastic example of octahedral acanthite indeed!!! The crystals all exhibit sharply defined octahedral habits and, upon close examination curious growth patterns can be seen in small areas as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently all around!!! This specimen retains an old unattributed label and a label from the Cilen collection as well!!!
