Mineralman.com is a retail/reference site run by Jasun McAvoy and Mandy Phillips (soon to be McAvoy) that came about as a result of the ever-growing popularity of our ebay business as ebay seller Mineralman999. Mineralman.com includes a large retail section of minerals that can be easily browsed by continent, alphabetical order, or searched using the search engine in the bottom left corner of the page. In addition to the minerals for sale, there is a photo gallery for your reference and viewing pleasure. The minerals in the photo gallery can be browsed alphabetically or by using the search engine. The mineral gallery is comprised of the fine minerals sold by us on ebay, and to which we owe our success and popularity. The mineral gallery will continue to grow in breadth and diversity as minerals from ebay and mineralman.com are sold and added to the gallery.

On the home page of our site, you will see a featured mineral from the retail section, which is either new or particularly noteworthy. The news section will inform you of what’s new at mineralman.com and in the mineral community in general. Be sure to check it out and sign up for our newsletter that includes information on important updates to our site and our ebay auctions. We have a lot in store for the future of Mineralman.com, and we will be constantly updating both minerals for sale and the gallery of sold minerals, so be sure to check in frequently. In addition, we will be adding a custom mineral cabinet section in the upcoming months with samples provided by Mandy’s father, Roy Phillips, who has been crafting upscale custom cabinetry for nearly 30 years. We are very excited to finally have this new venue, which will provide us with a more personal interface with which to sell our world-class minerals and interact with our valued customers. Who are Jasun and Mandy? Jasun and Mandy met in college over eight years ago and quickly found a home with each other as vibrant entrepreneurial spirits who love to entertain and travel. Shortly after graduating from Lycoming College in 2000, they moved to the area where Jasun grew up in Spring Lake, New Jersey. After suffering through a series of entry-level jobs (social work for Mandy and stockbroker for Jasun - to name a few), it became clear that their talents were better suited for running a business. Jasun has collected minerals since he was a kid, and rediscovered it shortly after graduating from college.

Slowly, he introduced Mandy to the hobby, and together they decided to try selling some minerals on ebay. Selling under the ID Mineralman999 on ebay, they became so busy, that what started out as a hobby soon became a business, and in 2004 they left the Jersey shore to move to Tucson, Arizona and w ork on the business full time. Mineralman.com is the long awaited website that has been in the works for some time now. The final key was meeting the right person to design it, and that person was Brandy Naugle of Minwreck.com! Thank you Brandy for making our dream a reality!
